Hi!

My name's Lys but you can call me Perséfone like the greek myth :) I'm a very calm person. My sister always says to me that I'm like an old lady in the body of a young girl (I'm 26).

I'm from Mexico City but right now I'm living in The Netherlands doing my Master in Film and Photographic Studies. Although I might change to Anthropology of Media and Visual Culture, cause I really would like to study the effect and relevance of personal and family photographs in the life of people :)

I love to sleep, and I spend my afternoons and nights reading. I think I have a special preference for the LatinBoom in Literature. I adore Julio Cortázar and Pablo's Neruda poems. But please, feel free to recommend me one book (or several) you've like.

I also like art and culture. I find so much pleasure going to Museums and walk in parks looking at what people do. Painting <3 uff I like surrealism, impressionism and postimpressionsm. Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Magritte, Remedios Varo & Van Gogh are my favs. I'm the kind of person who cries in front of a painting :P I just really get excited of being in front of something that someone I admire actually did. Chose the colors, took his time, had it in front of him/her for days.

*Dancing (I practice bellydance and Mexican Folklore )// etc. etc.

I'm in love with the world and it's different cultures. I'm so curious about the languages, how people is, their costumes, how they see life, etc. So I would be happy if you tell me about your life, family, interests, funny experiences in life, whatever :)

*Wanderlust* I have an addiction to traveling and meeting new places. But I also enjoy showing my Country and its culture to other people, so if you ever come to Mexico I'll be happy to join you in a tour :)

I worked in two radio stations. In one I was in production of a News Broadcasting and in the other I was on air in different programs. One was about culture and art, the was is about International topics, other about music recommendations for nights and another about cinema. So I'm kind of a big talker :p
