Hi!

I live in Riga, Latvia near the Baltic sea and I am very glad to be a part of postcrossing.

I really enjoy sending postcards - choosing the right one, sticking the stamp and then comes waiting. Also I can't wait to open my mailbox every morning to see whether there is a postcard.

I like to collect the facts in my mind that is why I am interested in history, geography and reading. I am a big fan of famous people biographies and I simply adore detective fiction.

I will be very glad to receive any kind of postcard from you but
my favorites are:
- a postcard that would represent your city/country and culture and would inspire me to visit your city/country, for example: a view of your city; famous historical places or buildings of your city/country
- a card relating to famous detectives (Sherlock Holmes, H.Poirot, J.Maigret and etc.) or famous writers (Agatha Christie, A. Conan Doyle, Georges Simenon and etc.)
- royal families;
- reproductions of famous paintings.
