Hello everyone

My name is Marie. I live in Deinze, a place in Flanders not far from Ghent.and located on the river 'De Leie'
I love cats and dogs but I don't have a pet right now.

I work as an animator by the elderly, in a retirement home. I think animals are so important for the elderly but unfortunately there are only a few places where people are allowed to keep their pets.
I worked in a small home that is recently closed because the building was no longer suitable. There we had a lovely dog and cats, really great, I miss that !

I enjoy reading, knitting, puzzling, biking and going to theater.
I also collect birth announcement cards (the cards sent by the parents to family and friends to let everyone know that their baby is born, NO congratulation cards )

I have not a wishlist for cards, all cards are welcome, I like what you sent. But please write something on it, not only your name or happy postcrossing. My favorites are cards that I don't have, but it would be nice to recieve them one day ...
I am not a stamp collector, but it's always nice to see a card with many, beautiful or special stamps !

I look forward to a lot of surprising postcards !!!
