Hello Everyone,

my name is Hugo. I live in the Hague in the Netherlands. I work there as a junior researcher (PhD-candidate) at Leiden University.

When I was a student, I used to be a mailman. Hence my interest in the postal system. Post has something really magical to me. I also used to write a lot of letters to my girlfriend when we were on a long distance relationship.

The Hague is a fascinating city, with all kinds of international institutions. Despite the fact that it is busy with traffic, I like living here.

In my free time, I like sewing, running and listening music.
I started just a year ago with sewing, but I like it very much. I enjoy making something that you can actually wear.

I also love travelling by trains. In my opinion they are marvellous machines and when looking out of the window you can fully take in the views.

I really like running, I am not very fast, but I like that you can just pop on some shoes and enjoy the outside. I like travelling the Netherlands for nice trails to run.
