About operagirl...

***NO DIRECT SWAPS***

Hello, terve, hej, merhaba, hola, ciao and so on...

I'm a big fan of classical music and philology. I love cooking and baking. I am originally from Finland. I study classical singing. I enjoy reading a good book or seeing a film. I'd love you to write something to me in your own language! I have two cats <3

If you don't know what to send me, here are some ideas:
- Animals, maybe cats? :)
- Art, paintings, black and white views
- Film: Audrey Hedburn, Elizabeth Taylor, black and white, vintage
- Fantasy
- Disney, Dreamworks
- Any card that's linked to (classical) music - musical instruments, notes, composers, especially famous opera singers if such cards exist!
- cards with BLUR ;) (the band)
- suomalaisilta olisi kiva saada muumeja, suomalaisten taiteilijoiden maalauksia (Kaj Stenvall, Schjerfbek, Edelfelt, Gallen-Kallela, Halonen...), Kiroileva siili-kortteja tai muita ihanuuksia mitä sieltä nyt saakin :) (this is a special wish about cards exclusively to my countrymen in Finland, sorry about that, these cards can't be purchased elsewhere)
- Calligraphy (Japanese, Chinese, Arabic (especially), Hindi, Korean....)

But really, I don't mind any card, if you want to send it in an envelope, make it yourself, free cards (they can be funny/creative too) - I am all flexible! I live myself in a country where I find it difficult to find actual post cards (there are hundreds of double cards though) and if I do they aren't generally very interesting looking.... at least not in my home town.

Happy, merry, herlig postcrossing from DK to you all :)

PS.- From all the languages I've listed German is the one and only I can't really reply in to you! But you may still write to me in German :) You may also write Japanese in hiragana/katagana.

PPS. - I really don't do direct swaps. I don't collect postcards in that way. Don't bother asking, because the answer is no. I am not interested. It may sound harsh, but I'm getting these requests all the time, even if I've written it all over my profile. So now it's said as directly as possible. Please, respect that.
