Hello! My name is Olena and I love postards.
I took a two year break from postcrossing and now I'm happy to be back!
Weirdly enough, since I became a university student a I have more free time (I thought I was supposed to have less free time? I guess I'll have to wait for the finals to find out) so I decided to take up postcrossing again.

I would like to receive postcards that are in any way connected with my interests (and I have a lot of them so it shouldn't be too hard). Here are some:
- I love books (Harry Potter, the Hobbit, Gone with the Wind, Shadow of the Wind are my favourites and recently I've been reading a lot of Latin American literature)
- cooking and baking
- fashion and style
- movies (500 Days of Summer is my favourite movie)
- TV series. I feel like I've seen everything on Netflix. Some of my favourites are Game of Thrones, Gossip Girl, How to Get Away with Murder, Narcos, Stranger Things, How I Met Your Mother, Mr Robot, some seasons of American Horror Story, Greys Anatomy, Mindy Project, House of Cards, Jessica Jones. Oh that ended up being longer than I intended. I wasn't kidding about having seen everything on Netflix,
- music (love Coldplay, Marina and the Diamonds, Okean El'zy)
- learning foreign languages (there are some awesome postcards with Chinese characters and how to draw them)
- coffee
- travelling
- hiking
- I LOVE history
- art
- geography
- bikes and biking
- aviation
- antique and vintage stuff

I would also love to receive:
- black and white postcards
- Birthday/ Christmas/ Easter/ Halloween/ postacards
- "keep calm" postcards
- movie posters postcards
postcards with:
- images from any Hayao Miyazaki/ Studio Ghibli movie
- subway/ city/ anything maps
- northern nature
- famous people (Royal family, Evita, Che Guevara)
- pianos and pianists
- bunnies
- van Gogh and Picasso paintings or paintings in those styles
- the Little Prince

I really really want Klimt's The Kiss postcard and a Neuschwanstein castle postcard.

Despite all that, just so you know, finding ANY postcards in my mailbox makes me happy.

The back side of the postcard matters just as much!! If you feel like sharing a random story about your day or your favourite quote/ poem/ recipe or just about anything, I would love to read it! I've become quite a foodie lately so if you have a favourite cafe or restaurant in your town, tell me about it. I'm always looking for movie/ TV show/ book/ travel/ anything? recommendations. Also it would be amazing if you could indicate the date of when the postcard had been sent and the city and country it had been sent from. Thank you!
