Hi, I am Julia, I am in my early forties, I am married and have a wonderful little daughter.
I am a bit oldfashioned, or maybe just a bit of a dreamer, I like old things, old music, old furniture, old magazines, old recipes. But I do like new literature. And plants and flowers, which usually are younger as well. I do a little gardening on my balcony, peas and herbs, some strawberries and flowers.
When I travel I like to find the little differences that still exist these days. One of the first things I always like to do, even if it is just a short trip to a close place just behind the border, is to check out the local shop and to watch out for unique things there. I think this is a good first view into a city or place.
What I like about postcards is the form - there is only a certain amount of space to write on, and it is readable for everybody who gets in touch with the card, what makes it special if you want to hide certain information in your words.
I like postcards with food, with trees and I am very happy about everything that brings a bit of seabreeze into my postbox: Postcards with pictures of the sea, of sand, shells, waves, boats, lighthouses ... . And I especially like christmas cards.
