Hello Postcrossers.

I'm from Poland but right now I live and work in the Netherlands. I like it here very much, the Netherlands is fascinating country, but nonetheless I plan to come back to my homeland some day.

I love travelling and taking photos but I spend most of my free time sitting on my bed and reading fanfictions in Internet. I write them too sometimes and I translate some of the ones I read from English to Polish. I also like watching anime and some TV series and movies. I used to love reading books but right now I read more fanfictions then anything else.

I collect figurines of owls, different kinds and of different materials. I don't know how many I have already, somewhat above 100, but it doesn't matter to me, I buy new ones all the time, everywhere I go. Many people ask me why I like owls so much, why I collect the figurines, but I can't tell, I really don't know.

I collect owl postcards too - I buy them everywhere I see them and this is also the kind of postcards I'd like to get the most. So if you have any and want to share, I'd be glad.

OK, so postcards I'd like to get the most:
1. owls, especially photos of owls in their natural environment: flying, hunting, sitting on trees branches or in trees hollows, owlets too; but also natural drawings and paintings or photos of owls in captivity;
2. wild animals in their natural environment, especially cute ones or in action;
3. portraits of a wild animal where the face is taking the whole picture;
4. flying wild birds, wild birds with their nestlings, wild birds while singing;
5. butterflies on flowers;
6. ladybirds, grasshoppers, beetles, spiders in their natural environment;
7. landscapes with a big moon, a rainbow, Northern Lights or Southern Lights, stars, interesting clouds, a setting or rising sun;
8. beautiful forests or single trees, especially very green ones, misty ones or in full autumn colours;
9. fantasy pictures, especially with dragons;
10. spring, summer, autumn or winter pictures of your hometown or homeland when you send the postcard in spring, summer, autumn or winter respectively - I just want to know how your place looks like when you send your card and I'd like to see the season in the picture;
11. people at work or doing interesting things;
12. dancing people;
13. an old castle from your country;
14. interesting house or houses from your hometown;
15. not very famous but still interesting churches from your hometown or country;
16. mural arts;
17. a map of the world;
18. photos of fire, ie volcanos, flames of candles, bonfires, flames in fireplaces, something burning in blaze, fireworks;
19. photos of flowing water where you see it's flowing;
20. something you find interesting - but please write then why you find it interest.

Type of postcards I prefere:
- photos before drawings or paintings;
- single pictures on front;
- nothing written on front;
- cards without envelope.
