Hi, my name is Nastya, I'm 22, I'm a journalist by profession.I work in newspaper.

I live in wonderful place in the centre part of Russia - Belgorod, in English means "Whity city".
It's because the city of Belgorod is situated on the large deposits of chalk.
There are many monuments of Wold War II in Belgorod. The most well-known of them are the Belgorod Diorama and the memorial of the Kursk Duga battle in Prohorovka (Belgorod Province).

The Belgorod Drama Theatre is well-known all ower Russia. It's named in honour of the famous Russian actor of XIX century, Mickhail Schepkin,who was born near Belgorod. Also there are many Orhodox cathedrals, churches and holy places.

However, the best thing about Belgorod is its kind and friendly people.

I like to travel, but I don’t have much free time. I love seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about other cultures.I prefer travelling by car, because it gives the freedom of movement. You can stop whenever you want and wherever you want just to admire the beauty of nature. As for me, I enjoy taking photographies of beautiful natural landscapes: sparkling views of waterfalls, snowy trees, birds, excotic animals.

I’d like to say that it’s hard to imagine my life without books.They help me to forget daily problems and to pretend me travel to the past, future and to many different, wonderful places that I can’t visit in reality. My favorites books is "The Grapes of Wrath"(J.Steinbeck),"Lolita" (V.Nabokov),"Lord of the Flies" (W.Golding) and others.

Also I like pets. I think that pets create a special atmosphere at home. As for me, I have one cat. Her name is Sara.She is very cute.

I will appreciate if you write something more than "Greetings from ..." You can tell me a fact about your country or dispel/prove a stereotype or myth about it. Also you can write me something that you know about my place or country, it is always interesting for me to know how people around the world see us. Besides it you can tell a story from your own life or quote something that you really like.
