My name is Daniel and I come from the small state of Saarland in the southwest of Germany.
Professionally, I deal a lot with marketing, develop campaigns and administer a large website.

Through my skills in design, I came to love high-quality writing instruments. I collect countless fountain pens, fineliners, mechanical pencils and fine inks. As I want to continue to use them in addition to just taking notes, I was looking for a practical use for these fine writing instruments and that's how I came up with postcrossing.

I am currently sending out postcards that were created during ongoing marketing campaigns for which I am jointly responsible. The cards are funny and sometimes ambiguous. For the future, I have thought about creating my own postcards with beautiful photographs and have designed some, which are currently being printed and will be used soon.

In addition to the aforementioned preferences and hobbies, my little family is my main focus. Our little son has just turned 2 years old and is currently demanding a lot of attention from my wife Jessica and me.

I am happy to receive beautiful postcards with a few nice lines. I don't have any particular preferences when it comes to cards, but I'm happy to receive great landscapes that I hadn't seen before.
