Hello fellow postcard lover!
I like all kinds of postcards that show me the place where you live. I'm not very fond of generic cards (bunches of flowers etc.) and advertising cards, funny cards or cards showing domestic animals.

My favourite types of postcards are: UNESCO, castles,maps of whole countries, European royal families, indigenous children or children wearing traditional costumes, famous landmarks, local customs and traditions, folklore, did you know cards, wild animals (no ZOO), universities (I'd especially love US ivy league), lighthouses with a view of the sea, waterfalls, panoramic cards, scenic views like sunstes, beutiful sky or a nightview etc...
I also collect cards showing: Marylin Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, moomins, US State flowers (photo rather than drawing), maps of Italian provinces and many more.

The list is to help you choose what I might like, but I'll enjoy anything nice or/and interesting you'd like to show me if you can't find anything from the list.

Please write something more on the card than just happy postcrossing. Tell me more about the place on the card, about you, your country, teach me something in your language...

I'm a university teacher and I teach a course in intercultural communication in business. So stories about local customs and behaviour would be nice too (eg. how do you greet people etc.) especially in cultures other than western hemisphere.
