I work and live in Frankfurt. Together with my family I live in the so-called Rhein-Main-Area. It is a region with lots of business, action and entertainment. But since I was born and raised in the southern part of Germany - in the Black Forest, the home of the famous "Kuckuck-clocks", I still prefer the nature, forest and tranquility. So whenever I get the chance, I escape from the big noise and wander around in the woods or fields nearby.
I do have two really great sons, a 15-year-old black shepard dog and together with my husband I try to keep our big "house"-project running. Meaning we are renovating and rebuilding our 70-year-old house. A lot of work but also a big challenge. And whenever we got a step forward we are proud and happy like little children.
I work at the airport and time is luxury to me. But I somehow manage to read a lot, esp thriller and old stories about Scotland. I love to spend my time in the garden where I always have new ideas to restructure or rearrange plants and trees. I like to do mosaics and form sculptures and figures out of clay. My friends are very important to me. We meet a lot, do city trips or vistit concerts together.
With postcrossing I hope to meet all the nice people who are able to smile when reading or writing some nice words to a totally stranger. Therefore I rather like to receive cards that tell me something about the person who sent it to me, than having my preferences of taste fulfilled. I assume, that there was a certain reason for choosing this one card and I find that point of view pretty interesting.
So don´t hestiate, I am realling looking forward to learn a little bit about the person on "the other end".
