Hallo everybody,
my name is Elke and I live in a small town next to Düsseldorf. I am a librarian in the public library here and I am very interested in reading and in your favorite authors. I like nearly all kinds of postcards (except touristic views), especially
- pictures and paintings of reading people
- wild animals, especially giraffes
- penguins
- royal families
- The Beatles
- postcards with illustrations of famous children`s books, nintje, moomins, Disney characters, little mole, Pippi and Michel by Astrid Lindgren, the Cossacks from Ukraine
- the old ladies by Inge Löök
- old advertisings
- hortensia/hydrangea (my favorite flowers)
- postcards with the lettering "Postcrossing" on it
- "Keep calm" postcards
- beautiful stamps
but my main focus is getting contact to people all over the world. I am looking forward to receiving your postcard and learning something about you and your daily life, about the country you live in, your hobbies or whatever you find interesting to write.
