Hello, my name is Markus, I work and live in Zurich, Switzerland. I love reading, travelling, hiking, spending time outdoors, cooking for friends, and attending cultural events.

You can send me any postcard you like, including ad, vintage, art and LGBT related cards.
Unlike many postcrossers I don't mind ad cards. I think they tell a lot about different cultures and local preferences. Often they make me laugh. Some of the best cards I've received were ad cards.

It always makes me sad to see profiles with long lists of NO NOs. Why not be open for surprises?
Getting surprised and receiving unexpected cards is the best part of Postcrossing

PS: Wikipedia defines postcards as 'a piece of thick paper or thin cardboard, intended for writing and mailing without envelope'.
To those postcrossers who ask for 'real postcards only': please specify your own personal definition of 'real postcard'. Else you just confuse people.
