Hi! I'm a pretty random person who interrupts herself mid-story to share another story. I love hockey (though I'm new to it, like I am to postcrossing), watching series (Friends, Firefly!), reading (I read super slow, but I'm currently on track to accomplish my New Year's Resolution of reading at least 52 books this year! Yay! Update: Accomplished this for 2015 woooo!!!), and staring at my laptop screen for hours and hours. Clearly I need to go out more (probably part of the reason I joined postcrossing is so I can visit the post office and see the sunshine once in a while).

I'm actually new to collecting postcards, but thought it would be a fun hobby! So I'm good with whatever postcards you send. That said, it would be cool (though not mandatory, of course!) to receive these ones:

-Greetings From <wherever you are, city/country> would be awesome!
-Greetings From postallove cards! (I have Canada, Malaysia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, and Norway.)
-shaped cards
-3D cards
-big/oversize ones, especially if they don't cost you extra :)
-cartoon/art map ones! I'm not too fond of the real map ones. Haha.
-something local (I love pretty, old buildings, especially if you're from Europe!) or tourist attractions and whatnot
-traditional/local food, clothes, etc. (and please write about it, if possible :) )
-exotic, wild animals (foxes, etc.)
-black and white but with a splash of color
-something with hockey in it. I shall love you forever!
-something science-y (did I just lose all of my nerd cred by saying science-y?)
-watch movements (I love watches! My dream watch is the IWC Portuguese. Ugh so pretty!)
-book/literature-related things
-movie-related things
-artsy things
-anime would be awesome! Preferably of the shounen variety. I am a 12-year-old boy at heart.

Oooh, pretty/unique stamps would be a plus!

But really, I'm happy receiving any sort of snail mail. =] And could you write the date also?

For what to write: A funny anecdote (or any anecdote, really! I typically don't shut up in real life, but when I do, I find I love listening to people's stories.), how much you love Joss Whedon and Firefly, how much Fox sucks, favorite series/shows/movies/anime (and tell me why, if you want to write more stuff :D), book recommendations (99% of the time I read fantasy *of the Brandon Sanderson and Larry Correia variety* and chick lit, but I don't typically enjoy paranormal romance. Go figure. I've also come to enjoy *funny* memoirs.), a new hobby for me to immerse myself in, places you'd like to visit, your dream job

Actually, write anything! Those are just suggestions to get you going if you're so interested :)
