Hello postcrossers!

My name is Maike and I live in a beautiful city in the south-west of Germany, near the Rhine.

I studied history and german language, and because of this reason one of my hobbies has to be reading ;-) I love to read old classic books, such as Jane Austen and some famous german writers like Goethe or Schiller, but also crime and fiction.
Some other hobbies are handicrafts, baking and cooking, little sports and meeting my friends.

I'm looking forward to receive postcards about:
- city views, also painted
- landscapes, especially snowy
- photographic art
- historical views
- people, especially in black and white
- seasonal greetings
- old looking postcards
- steam trains
- polarlights
- royals of your country (if there are any ;-))
- cards showing the heros of your childhood

Of course I'm happy with any other postcard too ;-) I'm happy to learn something about you, the city you're living in and your culture.
