Welcome to my profile.

My name is Luca. I am a 19 years old boy from The Netherlands. You know, that little country where weed is legal, windmills are supposed to be everywhere and the land of tulips. But unfortunately these are all stereotypes. The real Netherlands are different.

I was born and raised in Renkum, a small village which lies in Gelderland. Gelderland is one of the 12 provinces of The Netherlands.

Nowadays I'm a Dutch law student at the University of Maastricht which lies in Limburg, another of those 12 provinces.

I've always been interested in different cultures and ethnicities. Cards that describe your culture, your way of living or your view on life or your country are very special to me. Also, you could write me a joke in your language with the English translation underneath it.

But, if you don't have a card with your culture on it, send me some thing else instead. I love everything! In case you have a hard time thinking of something, choose something from below ;)

Please write something on the card. I really do not like cards that don't have anything on them.

When you got my adress by Postcrossing I would appreciate it if you would write down your username on the card. This way I can track you down if you forgot the postcard ID. It would be great if you would include the date too!

Wenn du aus Deutschland komsst, oder ein Deutschsprechendes Land, denn werde ich es lieben wenn du die Karte in Deutsch schreiben wird. Ich liebe die Deutsche sprache und ich mag es mehr in Deutsch zu lesen.

But please keep in mind that Dutch and German are too completely different languages! In the Netherlands they speak Dutch and in Germany German! Because soms of the cards tell me about how awesome it is that people in The Netherlands speak German.. We don't.. Some of us do because we learned it.
