About Ludmila...

Nice to meet you, Stranger!
Before sending me a postcard you'd probably would like to know something about me so let me introduce myself.
My name is Ludmila.I was given this name after the heroine of Pushkin's "Ruslan and Ludmila". I live in Belarus in the town of Vitebsk where as you might remember Marc Chagal came from. Our country is not big but it is really picturesque full of green forests, wide fields and numerous lakes. There are so many of them here that we used to call our motherland "Blue-eyed Belarus".
I work as a bookkeeper. I love reading, cooking, gardening and I'm keen on origamis. As s child I used to collect postcards and I still keep that collection. I think postcrossing is just the right way to fill that collection up. So here I am.
My husband is a haulier. We have two kids. Our fair-haired blue-eyed son Stas is 6 y.o. and our red-haired green-eyed daughter Anastasia is 2 y.o.
Both men in our family are crazy about cars so I think the most appreciated postcards in this way would be those with:
- cars, vehicles, trucks etc. especially looooong and BIG ones
- racing cars, formula 1
- motorbikes
- ships under sail
- planes and space related
- trains modern and old ones
I think cards with:
- dragons
- cyborgs will be popular among them too.
As for me and the daughter we'll love
- faires
- cartoons of all kind
- butterflies
- funny,cute drawings
- girlish
- boys and girls together
- folk dresses
- local handycraft
- typical landscape of you country
- famous men from your country
If you choose to send us the sightseeng place of your country than let it be a SINGLE view 'cause I am shortsighted (a bookworm you know)and we have no magnifying glass at home.

Anyway those above are just wishes be sure every card if it was sent with kindness will be received with great pleasure and will find its place in our collection.
As for me I will definitely send the best of what is possible to find in a provincial town to satisfy the wishlist of a receiver. If I miss the bullet I expect you to be understanding and do not jugde stricktly!
Please write something on the back side of the card for us to practise English or in your mother tongue with translation please.
So please send your card written and stamped without an envelope, NICE STAMPS are appreciated.
Bye-bye =))
P.S. Please do NOT send
- ad free cards ( unless the car on it is really BIG=)))
- home made cards unless they are unique, really creative and neatly made.
Thank you for reading this and your effort to make our collection more interesting.
