Hi there!

I am a 34-year old Dutch girl that has lived in many places, but the saying is true: home is where the heart is. My heart now resides at Alkmaar, a beautiful city right next to the Dutch beach, together with my love Edwin and our big fat but most adorable cat. And on August 7, 2012, our lovely daughter Mila was born!

I enjoy travelling all over the world, but also find it very pleasant to try to compete with Jamie Oliver or even LaRousse Gastronomique at home. Feel free to share your favourite recipe or travel destination (and why), or well whatever: please feel free to share anything with me, varying from what you have been doing today to your hopes and dreams.
