Hi, nice to become a member of Postcrossing! I love to collect old things like black and white postcards, Photo postcards of children, or a view of an old family, fire brigade or old shop with books or antiques, old letters on a postcard, sometimes with a butterfly or flower..! Or with book illustrations, or just a pile of books. I love Alice in Wonderland illustrations, or other childrens book illustrations! Years ago I made a doll's house, with furniture, dolls and kitchen things, bedrooms, etc. A postcard with a doll's house or a doll is appreciated too! You can take a look at my favourites on my postcards wall...!
My hobbies : I work with materials to create 'paintings' of lace, fashion fabrics, buttons etc. I knit and sew, quilt and make dolls or an elf..! I am a grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren, I love to make photos of them, play with and read to them! I like to make crapbooks of family or holidays. I also love to read literature and detective books, in English and Dutch. I like to go to Great Britain and shop in their Oxfam bookshops and antique/secondhand shops for all kind of little treasures, something what has to do with needlework or old medical things! (because once upon a time I was a nurse..)
I also love postcards with one of my hobby's, like a piece of lace or an old sewingmachine or an open sewingbox, buttons..!
