About Michael...

Hello Postcrossing Friends,

I really enjoy sending and receiving postcards via this portal and to get to know interesting places and postcard people. When sending postcards, I am happy to try to fulfil personal preferences on postcards and stamps wherever possible.

As for receiving postcards, I welcome any card and getting surprised sometimes is very refreshing. However, you may want to take a look at my favourites to get an idea of postcard styles I like or choose a topic from the below list. Envelopes with nice stamps are also welcomed :)

-> Aerograms instead of postcards are very very much appreciated!!
-> Corona / Covid-19 related cards
-> cards related to the places: Nottingham, Alicante, Gibraltar, Manchester, Taiwan or Bielefeld
-> Men as the main subject (photographs as well as drawings or paintings)
-> sign language
-> stamp or postal related history
-> Freddie Mercury
-> Pierre et Gilles
-> Art (classicism, romanticism, impressionism, cubism)
-> Otto Dix (Painter)
-> Ralf König Comics
-> LGBTQIA+ related
-> anything related to philately
-> Old postcards related to Monarchy or Royal Families (15/20 years or older)

... and anything else you think I may enjoy! Please no commercial add cards (unless absolutely hilarious or related to the above-mentioned subjects).

A perhaps a bit too specialized request would be to receive very precisely matching postcards and stamps e.g. A postcard of Mother Theresa with a Mother Theresa stamp.

***** swap requests ******
I am already happy with the amounts of cards I am getting through the usual Postcrossing and the available time is a bit limited too. But please feel free to send me direct swap requests if you are looking for a specific stamp or postcard from Germany or perhaps you feel you have just the right card & stamp for me :)))
