Hello, my fellow postcrossers.

My name is Mari and I live in Tampere, Finland. I am a bit of a geek (fantasy, science fiction, manga, anime) and I am also very interested in foreign languages and cultures (especially Japan and the rest of Asia). I am fluent in Finnish and English, and I also understand Swedish and Japanese to an extent, so feel free to write to me in any of those languages.

I am still new to postcrossing so all kinds of cards are welcome. For example, you could send me a card that you personally like and tell me why you like it. I would definitely appreciate it if you wrote something on the card. It can be anything you feel like writing, so surprise me! :)

Here is a list of things I'd love to see on cards (but anything is welcome!):
- beautiful, colourful illustrations or scenery
- artistic black-and-white photographs
- cards that show or tell me something about your country and culture, for example, traditional clothing, customs, food, people in their everyday life, history, monuments, art, or whatever you want to show or tell me about your culture
- hot air balloons (I would especially love these!)
- fantasy and fairytale illustrations
- ballet dancers
- tea
- martial arts
- your own art or a photograph taken by you if you have an inner artist :)

I prefer single view cards, and if you have a nice stamp to go with the card, I would appreciate it. Additionally, since I love languages, it would be fun if you wrote me a greeting in your own language.
