About Yimei...
Hello! My name is Yimei and I am 25 years old this year. My Birthday falls in the month of March. I am an aspiring website designer residing in Sunny Singapore. In my free time, I love to draw, crochet, collect stamps, make greeting cards and read novels (the list goes on as there's so many things I love doing).
I am not very well traveled but I hope to explore the world one little step at a time whenever I could. These are the places I've been to so far:
1. Bangkok, Thailand
2. China
- Suzhou
- Beijing
- Shanghai
- Nanjing
- Wuxi
- Kunming
- Guizhou
- Dali
- Lijiang
3. Malaysia
4. Taiwan
5. Australia
- Perth
- Sydney
- Melbourne
6. Indonesia
I would love to receive cards with:
- Drawings/Cartoon/Paintings
- Inspirational Quotes
- Scenery (City, Sea, Mountains, Countryside, Forest etc)
- Animals
- Dogs (Especially Pomeranian breed)
- Birthday Cards in March
- Christmas Cards in December
PS: I do not have a strict preference. You can send me any cards you like as well :)
You can write to me about anything; but if you have no idea on what to say, here are some things I'll like to hear from you:
❤ Tell me more about your country - the people, language, culture, weather or temperature.
❤ Write something to me in your language e.g. "Hello" or "Goodbye" or "Merry Christmas".
❤ Books that you've read and feel that I should read them too (My favourite author is Jodi Picoult)
❤ Describe to me the type of house you live in and the environment (In Singapore we live in HDB flats which I find very boring. You can Google it to know how it looks like.)
❤ Tell me what you like - your hobbies, music, movies
❤ Tell me something about your life - something that has left a great impact on your life, your dreams
❤ List down your favourite recipe for me to follow and try it out in my kitchen
PS: I found the following on a fellow postcrossing member's profile and found it really meaningful.
If you're sending a card to me, do also visit www.sendkidstheworld.com and send these little angels a card as well to brighten up their day.
