Hi! My name is Maria and I'm a translator. I've been studying languages since I was 5 years old and I keep improving and studying new. Recently I've started learning German and Spanish.

Apart from studying languages I enjoy listening and watching Italian opera. I'm very interested in art (especially painting and architecture), I love attending art museums and lectures and try to draw myself. Also I'm keen on different types of handycraft: crossstitching, ribbon embroidery and many others.

I don't have a garden but I like to grow different plants and flowers in my flat. I'm also a frequent traveler and sometimes I bring seeds and sprouts from my trips.

My biggest passion is birds: small and big, parrots, songbirds and birds of prey. I love them all!

I'd love to receive cards with:

If you are from the USA, I collect postcards with US state birds. So far I have Texas, Kentucky, New Jersey, Hawaii, Alaska, Missouri, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Indiana.
Also I have postcards with the national birds of: New Zealand, Malaysia, Slovenia, Tenerife, Belarus and I wish to have more from other places.
