Since my childhood I love to get postcards. Now I am 60 years old and get nearly even emails. My mailbox remains empty. Therefore, I find Postcrossing a great idea. I like the moment when I find postcards in my mailbox.

I am interested in many things, particularly I like reading, writing, drawing, listening to music and dancing.

The place at which I live is a middle-sized town on the edge of a nature reserve. It`s a district town with diversified shopping opportunities, and a wide choice of cultural opportunities. For example there are theater performances, concerts, carnival processions, several markets, art exhibitions and sport events. Right in the middle is where the green center of the city runs along a river. In addition there are two recreational lakes.
Cologne is near by and also the Netherlands and Belgium are only 40 km away.
I am not born in this town, but I live there with pleasure.

I like postcards with art and graphic art, country (no multi-views) and nature scenes but I am happy with any postcard.
