*spending summer vacations in great britain (scotland, england, wales); for some reason northern ireland doesn't attract us, so GB and no UK - we love the surroundings, the people, the language - whenever we are in GB, we try to enjoy an afternoon tea and a sunday lunch / sunday roast - we feel sorry COVID stops us to travel abroad for now,
*watching british murder mysteries - we have loads of episodes of our favourite series on dvd; nowadays new episodes are made for only a few of our favourite series, so we cherish all dvd's we have

i also love
*photography, especially while spending vacations / days out - every now and then i select some of my best photo’s and order cards to be printed professionally of these photo's, or order for self-designed stamps for domestic destinations (using one of my own photo's) - my avatar shows part of a photo i took in my home country (the netherlands), while we spend our 2021-vacation
*cooking / looking for new recipes
*shopping for nice cards for PC; about all cards i send, are bought outside my hometown or even abroad - I think GB is heaven for card-shopping addicts like myself
*penpaling with the snail-mail-penpals I already have; I don't look for new penpals

-'cards' which are no more than 2 pieces of paper glued together
-cards send through commercial firms

plse, write the ID clearly (in a different colour) on 2 places on the card - postal stamps / stickers at certain places on the card make it impossible to read the ID

i always send written real cards in enveloppes, WITHOUT enclosing (special) coins, (unused) stamps, tickets or so - more and more cards travelling on their own, seem to arrive damaged

although i don't collect stamps myself, i use as many nice stamps as possible; recent released stamps for domestic destinations, recent released x-masstamps and old but still valid stamps

i intend to register all received cards the day i find them in my mailbox - I set my account on inactive about a month before leaving for my summer vacation abroad - however, some cards do travel over a month, so they may arrive while I am away; these cards wait for me when I return home; then, ofcourse, I register them - i do not register an ID without a received card; when your card is not registered, your card did not find it's way to my mailbox - so, plse no messages asking me to register your not-received card; I won't respond.
