Hello! I'm Mari, a 24 year old student of politics. A bit of a hippie, a queer and a metalhead with a relatively academic gaze towards the world. I'm generally curious and have lots of positive energy and excitement. I love filling my freetime with piles of books, games (especially MTG), loud music, meditation, running, dancing, knitting, frantic tea drinking, good conversations and people with intriguing minds. I dream of one day being functional enough to keep plants alive and having a meaningful job, perhaps with writing, and I wish I'll always be as happy as I currently am.

I'm really into studying and discussing politics, philosophy, religion and spirituality. I'm a leftist, an atheist and a nihilist, trying hard to remain stoic to balance out my hedonism. I'm a huge skeptic, unwilling to believe in anything but myself, but I find secular spirituality producing surplus value into my life as it offers plenty of symbolic tools. Despite my own leanings, I'm very tolerant and interested in life philosophies differing from mine; I'd be glad to hear your truths about the world.

I love to see the cards written full. The content isn't that important as long as it's genuine - I want to hear whatever you feel like writing about, to get a tiny glimpse into your head and your life. If you can't think of anything, I'll always be excited to hear about people's life philosophies and religious and/or political views. You can also tell me about a book you read recently, or one you liked a lot. I'm also interested in dreams, so perhaps you could to tell me about a recent dream or a recurring nightmare.

Going to Shanghai and Bangkok for the first time around Christmas! All tips and advice very welcome from both locals and seasoned travellers.
