My name is Marieke. I am a Dutch woman, living in Ireland with my family, since 1990 and absolutely loving it. We are living in county Galway, and from our home, we view fields with this Irish green green grass and lots of lovely sheep......

Ah,and this famous Irish rain......Yes, true as well, but nothing can beat the fresh sunshine after, the clouds as they hang in the sky, the shooting stars above our roof at night and the smell of turf from our chimney pipes.......

I work as a childcare Manager and enjoy spending time with all these children that love to come to our Centre and with all our staff, we try to make their experience a truly happy one on a daily basis.

I have always enjoyed writing and have had pen-pals all my life.

This idea of exchanging post cards is a wonderful add-on.
