About Monika...
Hello Postcrosser,
I used to collect postcards 15 years ago, took a long brake and now I'm back :)
My 10 y.o. is collecting postcards with me, he is always happy to find something interesting in our mailbox.
We like stamped postcards (not in envelope), fancy stamp would be great too.
Please write something on the back, something about the place, your country, some history fact or funny story etc.
★ No advertisement, free, nude, folded, sexual humous, occasional or handmade cards please ★ I'm interested in places, not products or events :) My son likes to read about different places around the world, I think it's a great way to learn geography, history etc.
My favorites wish-list:
★ city views (especially during night, sunrise or sunset but any will do) also aerial views and small towns;
★ tourist postcards from your area (best is with the name on the place in front);
★ city, country or state maps;
★ people wearing folk or traditional/national clothes (also Amish, Native Americans, cowboys);
★ Route66;
★ lighthouses; windmills;
★ nice scenics, national/state parks, beautiful landscape - especially spring (trees in bloom) or fall colours, water (lakes, seas, oceans, rivers) and mountain views, prairie, desert, forest, meadow etc;
★ farm cards (tractors, cows, barns, silo, people working on a field, farmers markets etc) and countryside,
★ wildlife (birds and animals living in your area)
★ GF postcards (sent from origin)
★ off the beaten track" - deserted/abandoned roads/houses, uncommon places, rural areas;
★ bridges (also wooden, covered)
★ Amish people
★ fireworks, "dramatic sky", sunrise/sunset
★ all postcards from Maine (I’m big fan of Stephen King novels),
★ recipe postcards
★ Twin Peaks series
- If you are from the USA,
★ It would be great to receive a state postcard with map, state flag, state bird, state flower, Native Americans, Civil War, Route66, Maine and so on
thank you !
