I'm a high school teacher of English and Italian, mother of a 20-year-old boy. I was born in Lapland, but moved to the south of Finland after getting married. My friends call me Mother Christmas, which is quite a nice compliment.
I love travelling (especially Italy), music, literature (classics mainly), arts (Renaissance masterpieces) and sports. And foreign languages, of course. I started learning the basics of the 13th language last year - that's Chinese.
I also collect proverbs from different countries and I'd be very happy to hear what's your motto in life. Mine is: when you forget what you can't change, you'll be happy!
It would also be very interesting to hear one good reason why I should come and visit your country.
One more request: please tell me what is your favourite word in your native language?
