My PC message (as my writing is so bad!!) "Hi, I live in the Blue Mountains of NSW, about 50km WEST of Sydney. Springwood is a nice quiet plcae to live and I grew up here in the 1940s-50s. Came back here in 1990, now live alone and love it" (That's about all I would fit on a PC, but read on and check out my profile.)

Update 17th July 2014....now have several PCs ready to send.

Update 6th Feb 2013..Just spent 6 weeks in hospital (from 11th Dec til 24 Jan)Badly broke my left elbow and have been having rehab for it almost ever since! At least I can knit (on circular needles)I hate getting old!! (70 this year!!) 7/5/2013 Now well and getting on with my life!

I am a retired Pharmacist (Sydney Uni 1961-1965) and have lived all over Australia over the past 40 years. Drove across the Nullabour Plain in 1968.
Lived in Perth WA for 3 years then returned to NSW
In Newcastle NSW I did locum Pharmacy work for several years and in 1977 became a Pharmacist at the Royal Newcastle Hospital (1977-1983)(NSW).
In 1983 I quit my job, gave away all my possessions, and money, and went to live as a Sannyasin at the Mangrove Mountain Ashram near Gosford, on the central coast of NSW. I lived within this system until 1990, travelling all over Australia, teaching Yoga. I lived in Melbourne (Victoria), Kuranda (Cairns, Qld), Canberra, Rocklyn (Victoria country), Darwin (Northern Territory).
I came back to Springwood in 1990, and have been here ever since. I worked as a Pharmacist in "Blooms the Chemist", Springwood, for 15 years, and retired on Jan 1st, 2006.
I travelled in this stage of my life..to Bali, Fiji, Singapore, India (twice), Japan and Vanuatu but I have never visited Europe or the USA
I now live alone..with my small X-terrier called Giles..now 17 years old. (he died on 4th August 2012, aged 18.5 years..I still miss him..now May 2013)
My hobbies.... Patchwork, Knitting, Family History, writing my Memoirs (for my own benefit) and keeping in touch with my friends by email. Recently joined Probus and Red Cross.
I attended Presbyterian Ladies College Sydney (1956-1960).
I love Postcards that show scenery or a picture of the place you live. And I love the stamps on the PCs too...reminds me of the days when I collected stamps...back in the 1950s.
I must apologise for my bad writing. It has become much worse over the years....sorry!!
19th November 2011..I am passionate about volcanoes and the Aurora Borealis...natural phenomena somehow fuel the imagination. And I love Japan and India....both very different countries and cultures!!
3rd April 2012 I have been inactive for a couple of months..Mum died, aged almost 95,on 4th Feb and I have been busy as her executor.
6th Feb 2013...sending PCs again, at last
Oct 2013...Had a bit of a rest from Postcrosing but I'm now back, Had 2 more stays in hospital...June and September, and now I feel officilly OLD. Diagnosis was congestive heart failure and AF...but I now feel better than ever
