About Susanne...

A note, in case you don't want to read all the rest :)

I decided to cover an empty door wall with cards showing ANIMALS - so if you could send a card showing an animal I'd be glad. Thank you.

HANDMADE cards welcome!

Dear all,

I'm looking forward to receiving postcards from all over the world. My hobbies are praying, singing, going to church, reading the bible, reading newspapers and books, learning new things, cooking vegan food, writing letters, collecting stamps, bookmarks and songbooks, animal shelter, playing the piano. I work as a secretary for a lawyer and love my job very much. I am unmarried and live together with Maggy, a red Persian cat.

I'm also looking for German or English speaking penpals or postcard pals. If you are interested please write down your e-mail-address on the postcard.

Welcomed are also envelopes with beautiful stamps or bookmarks from your country.

The best moment of day is when I come home after work and open my mailbox - and find something in it!

I am also interested in folk songs. So if you decide to send me an envelope you can also include a folk song from your country.

And I'd love to meet people who are also interested in vegan food.

Most I appreciate typical "tourist" cards from your area. Alternatively you may also send cards showing an animal or motives of art. But every card is welcome, as long as it is decent. Please do not send a card showing a church, I have already quite a lot of them!

If you are interested in a direct swap, please let me know.

And, please, say "Hello" to me in your own language!

Please send me a message in case your postcard does not reach me.

A note: I want to state that I am not a religious fundamentalist in any way. I love praying and everything to do with my religion, but I deeply believe that religion must serve life and humanity. For me religion is not about making rules how people's life has to be in order that they may be loved by God. Everyone must have the chance to live what God has put in them. I respect every religion and lifestyle as long as it does not result in cruelty to mankind and animals. I adore Albert Schweitzer who preached about "Ehrfurcht vor dem Leben": "Ich bin Leben, das leben will, inmitten von Leben, das leben will." Unfortunately, I do not want to translate this quote, since it is so beautiful in German.
