Hi there!
I’m going to start with a classic, boring introduction. My name is Zosia, which can be translated into Sophie, if You’re not sure about how to pronounce it ;p
It comes from the Greek Sophia, which means “wisdom”. I think, that calling me wisdom was just a cruel joke, that my parents have played on me.
I am 17 years of age and I go to the second class of high school. I live in Poland, in a city called Gliwice.
I’m a rather funny and a bit quirky person. I enjoy doing things that most people do not understand, like talking and smiling to myself, singing out loud while walking around the house or dancing in the shopping centre. But I also have normal pastimes, not too many though, cause I’m a bit lazy.
I’ve taken up snowboarding when I was eleven and it has been my greatest passion ever since.
I love to sing but mostly for me, although some say that I’m talented. Also, when I was a child, I fell totally in love with dancing and it has been a immortal love :D I dance, whenever I have a chance to do it and it gives me a huge amount of satisfaction, makes me feel free, womanly. I try to enjoy little things and hobbies as well, for example watching my favorite movies in my spare time, making presents for my loved ones, decorating my room, thrifting or dressing up;)
I chose postcrossing as my new activity just because I love receiving postcards- it always makes my day, when there’s something more than just a stupid leaflet waiting for me in the postbox.
I also love meeting new people and sharing my thoughts and favorites with them. It is so exciting to get a postcard from a place, that is miles away from You. It might also be helpful when I’ll start my over the world trip, that I’m planning to make when I’ll be older. I’m so sick of that I haven’t even seen the bloody Paris ;(
My plans for future haven’t really been made yet. I have lots of ideas. I would like to study languages somewhere else than just this grey and boring Poland. My biggest dream is to see the whole Ireland and Great Britain and perhaps to live there. Then I would be able to hear British accent all day round and it would be better than in heaven.
