About Lily...

Dear guys, gals, and non-binary pals,

My name is Lily and at this moment I am nineteen years old. I study Fine Arts in Groningen and I'm in my third year already!
People then always ask me about what kind of art I make, and that's a hard question to answer since I do not want to limit myself to one specific medium or topic.
What I can say is that I mostly use the mediums photography, video, lino, and poetry. Most of my work is about -my own- daily life; emotions, struggles, tasks, and mental illness.

If my art is something that interests you, I have my Instagram linked to my profile. Through my Instagram, you can also go to my Pinterest and the website where you can find my poetry book.

Apart from art, I spend a lot of time at the farm. The farm is a few villages away from the village where I live, and it takes about 20-30 minutes to get there by bike.
The "farm" is where I keep my horse, Khepri! He is a four-year-old gelding. For the horsey-people here... He's a Gelderlander!

I have a massive love for music, although I cannot play any instruments myself. Most genres are welcome; alternative, new-wave, all kinds of rock, metalcore, classical, jazz, pop, and a whole lot of 'old' music. I'm a huge fan of Sinatra and Billy Joel!

Now, if you don't know what to write about, then tell me something you know a redundant amount of information about! For me it's Ancient Egypt, it fascinates me!
If you don't have such a topic then you can also tell me about your positive triggers! Some of mine are tea, flowers, fall, my cat Willow, The Walking Dead, tattoos, bookstores, old-fashioned stuff, forests, rain, combat boots, physical photos, diaries and journals, handwritten letters and postcards, MXDVS, post-apocalyptic art, and stamps!

I hope you have a lovely day.
Happy Postcrossing!

Love,
Lily

P.S. Handmade postcards, teabags, pressed flowers, letters, stamps... all is welcome and appreciated!
