About Mélissa...

Bonjour! I'm 37 years old and I live in Quebec City, the capital of the province of Quebec, in Canada. I'm the proud mom of two wonderful children. Maybe they are future members of Postcrossing?! I work as legal assistant in a notaries office. I love reading, watching tv series and movies, travelling, music, animals (I have three cats at home) and, of course, postcards and Postcrossing! What a wonderful hobby!

Regarding postcards, I'm interested in a lot of themes! If you need some inspiration, here are some (well.. many!) ideas and keywords, in alphabetical order:

♥A: aerial views, aviation, abandonned places, autumn, architectural details
♥B: books, ballet/ballerinas, bridges
♥C: castles, costumes/clothes, covered bridges, culture, carnivals, cemeteries, courthouses, carrousels, coffee, chocolate, cupcakes, cheese, cats, Christmas, clocks, calendars
♥D: dance, daily life, dolls, doors, drinks
♥E: Eiffel tower (illustrations or black and white pictures)
♥F: folklore, festivals, flags, food, fairy tales, ferris wheels, female imaginary creatures, families
♥G: Greetings from...
♥H: houses, historic places, haunted places, handicraft, Halloween
♥I: illustrations (from children's books or by an artist of your country)
♥K: Keep calm and...
♥L: lighthouses, legends
♥M: mapcards, markets, memorials, mail, maternity, museums, Marilyn Monroe
♥N: night views, native people, native animals, Nouvelles Images
♥O: Olympic Games
♥P: pianos/pianists, painted city views, people
♥R: royal families, receipes, restaurants/cafés/pubs, route 66
♥S: shops fronts/signs, streets, spices, street art
♥T: typical and traditional things, theaters, tea, teddy bears, toys, tower clocks
♥U: UNESCO World Heritage Sites
♥V: vintage/retro ads
♥W: windmills, windows, winter landscapes

You can also have a look at my favorite cards. These are cards that I have not received yet, but which I like.

If you can't send that kind of postcards, don't worry! A nice card chosen by you will bring me joy and will be welcome in my mail box! However, I have to say that I'm not a fan of handmade, self-printed or ad cards. Please, save them for someone who like them. Thank you!

I hope to hear from you soon and thank you very much in advance!

Happy postcrossing! :)
