About Lei...

Hi people! Thank you for spending time reading this before you send me a postcard. I recently started my postcrossing journey again. I've been on postcrossing for years, ever since middle school but I had been inactive these past two years. Until I found my postcard collection, I realized how much joy postcrossing had brought me.

My name is Fang(this is my Chinese name), or you can call me Leila. Well, honestly people call me Leila most of the time. I am currently a fresh graduate, graduated in the year of corona virus. At this point of my life I am actually confused, I don't know what next. So currently I am doing a job I don't have much interest in. I wanted to go for master degree but didn't know what I should study. I don't know why I would talk about random things here. But when you get my address, you can always teach me about life, share your opinions on the postcards, I'll appreciate it.

Other than what's above, I live and work in Shanghai now. I studied in Shanghai for four years and decided to stay some more years after my studies, amazing city. I travel sometimes. I love traveling. I have been to Italy, Japan, India and Switzerland. So maybe you can tell me something interesting about your country , your city or your town. Hopefully I will find my next travel destination:)

I like hiking and reading. I read all kinds of books, mainly American, British literature, sometimes poetry (yes I read Neruda). One of my life goals is to show people that their certain stereotypes about Chinese people are wrong. Ask me anything about China, Chinese Language or Chinese people!

I love languages, wanted to be a linguist but ended up being a sales person. But who knows, probably I will still become a linguist later in my life and I look forward to seeing what will happen next. I speak Chinese(my mother tongue), English(fluent), Japanese(fluent) and Italian(not fluent). I don't want to show off, I just want to offer some inspirations, you can use all the languages on the postcards. Any postcards are welcome.

If I can find a snail mail pen pal here, that would be great! But sometimes I wonder if I am too old to do this or is there really anyone who still sends snail mails?

Have a nice day ^^
