About Lauma...

I live in a wonderful city named Riga and I'm interested in culture, history and arts. I like reading, watching movies, cooking and going to museums and exhibitions and long walks, watching historical architecture and nature. I take care of some room plants and two wonderful cats

I adore postcards with
- reproductions of artworks (Art Noveau, Art deco, Modernism, Russian suprematism, ukiyo-e, Dutch painting, El Greko, Goya, Michael Sowa, folk arts etc. - whatever characterizes the art of your country or just your taste in arts)
- fine-art photography (Brassaï, László Moholy-Nagy, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Mapplethorpe, Antanas Sutkus - whatever catches your eye)
- vintage advertisement (especially cigarettes and booze, or movie-posters)
- real vintage cards or just old cards :) (from charity and antique shops, second hands etc.)
- star wars (the old ones) and retrofuturism
- all kinds of retro stuff
- black-and-white postcards
- historical sights and buildings
- books and libraries, and book-shops
- the new yorker covers
- old cartoon or children book characters (I love Moomins and old Soviet cartoons), other book illustrations
- penguins and owls, and other puffy birds
- cats, cats, cats, and maybe some other kitties (no text, please)
- whatever you find nice and worth to send :)

but, please, NO MULTI-VIEWS or humorous cards (you know, humor is pretty individual thing), and, please, no ads, except vintage ones :)

What to write? Maybe some good childhood memory, something about you and your country, or the image on the postcard, the name of your favorite movie or book you've read recently, or something that happened during the day you were going to send me a postcard.

Happy postcrossing!
Cheers!
