I'm from Germany, more precisely from the north west of Germany and I'm living in a village surrounded by a lake (some people even call it peninsula).
I've heard about this website from a really good friend and I was taken by this idea directly, because I'm interested in other cultures a lot and also I enjoy receiving hand written letters or cards and particularly writing some. It’s like a way of travelling and it makes me so happy every time I am receiving a card.
I'm 19 years old and currently I am doing a gap year. Next year I am going to study medicine (and I can’t wait). Last year i traveled through south east asia and fell in love with indonesia in particular. I actually had other travel plans for this year, which of course I had to cancel due to the current situation. I really miss traveling, which is why I remembered postcrossing. I discovered the site in 2018, but only used it for half a year because I just didn't have enough time (thanks to the pandemic that I have now enough time hehe).
In my free time I love drawing and reading books (maybe you can tell me a good one, would love to receive some recommendations:) ) and just spending time with my friends while having some good food. Also I try to do more sports during quarantine, so maybe you can write some motivational words hehe.

Anything you write about is fine because I'm just interested in what people from all over the world have to say, so just start writing :) but if you need some inspirations, you can answer some of these questions:
