Hi! Welcome on my Postcrossing profile :)
My name is Alice. I'm a girl/woman/person from the South of the Netherlands, the region I live in got the Destination Award by the World Travel & Tourism Council this year (2016) of which I am very proud because yes, it is beautiful here.

I live together with my long-term Love Daan and our gorgeous baby-dog, Soraya. That's her in my profile pic.

I love reading, and I am mostly interested in fantasy and science fiction, such as Harry Potter, Wheel of Time and almost everything ever written by Robin Hobb, though I also really enjoy Young Adult Fantasy too! (Think of: Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, the Gemma Doyle Trilogy)
That doesn't mean I shy away from classics though, I am known to also really enjoy some Austen or E.A. Poe too!

I also love to play videogames, mostly RPG's! I am a big fan of the Final Fantasy games, the Zelda games and the God of War games, I am a big fan of the Witcher 3 and I can't get enough of the last two Tomb Raider games.

Last, but certainly not least, I am a big fan of the Netflix :P
I'm following Once upon a time, and so far I also watched Heroes, Gossip Girl, How I met your Mother and Vampire Diaries.
On DVD I watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel over and over again ^^

Yes, time-distribution is a bit of a problem for me ;)

If all of the above didn't provide you with a good idea for a postcard, here are some other things I like/love:

- Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli. I would LOVE postcards with images from Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited away ^^

- 60's. I LOVE the 60's! The dresses, the cars, the postcards. Everything about it was awesome and currently I am saving up for this gorgeous dress I found online :)

- Animals. I mostly love canines (wolves and dogs) but I would also be very happy with owlcards, or foxcards :) (or just any whimsical animal card, I have one of a brown bear, sniffing a flower he's holding with his foot waiting to be send, haha)

- Anime. My favorite animeshows include Black Butler, Naruto, Wolf's Rain and Serial experiments of Lain

- I received a couple of lovely black and white postcards already. Yes, I am a big fan of the black and white. So if you happen to have any of those, don't hesitate to send that one!

- You could also check my favorites if you are still at a loss :)

Of course, I will be happy with any postcard that ends up in my mail. Should you be at a loss for words, please don't just write 'Greetings from' but instead just tell me about your day, or maybe your pet. You could write about your hobbies and interests or about your culture of favorite movie/book. The possibilities are endless!
