Hello!

My name is Evelien van Buuren. I am 20 years old and I'm a Law student in the Netherlands.

I started Postcrossing a few years ago, and I really enjoyed doing it, but after a few months I became inactive. The last few months I have actually missed it, because I think it's awesome to send and receive cards to people all over the world. And so I thought: let's start again!

When I was 18 a took a gap year and I travelled all around Australia and New Zealand. Mostly alone, meeting other people on the way, but some parts I travelled with friends. Since I got back in the Netherlands I started studying Law in Nijmegen. I live a whole other live since I'm back and even consider myself boring from time to time now!
When I'm done at the university I would like to travel some more. Asia and South-America are still very high on my list.
My first travel will be this summer: together with my close friend Pallas I will travel around Iceland for 2 weeks. I'm very exited to do that.
