Hi! My name is Kornei; I’m 17 years old; I study at a college and live in Saint-Petersburg.

Saint Petersburg is one of the biggest and most beautiful cities in Russia; some call it our cultural capital and “the Venice of the North”. Here are some touristic cards I used to send when I started postcrossing:

The St. Petersburg Metro is one of the deepest metro systems in the world and the most convenient form of transport for me.

Now I'm learning calligraphy — from the David Harris’ “Art of Calligraphy”. I like hiking, skiing, water tourism — in Russian it is usually united in a concept of sporty tourism (or just tourism). Maybe, the expression ‘athletic tourism’ would match.

Have you ever been to Saint-Petersburg? Write about it, if Yes. What music reflects your feeling today? And what was (is) your favourite subject at school? As for me, that was Physics and English. It was always interesting for me to try to understand other people’s way of thinking.
And if you don’t want to write anything, you may cover all the postcard with various stamps. I’ll like nice stamps as well as postcards. As regards postcards, I would collect ones with retro cars and trains, hand-drawn cityscapes; pieces of fictional worlds, handmade cards. You can send, of course, any other, if you like it!
