Hello Postcrossers!

I work as an historian for Toronto's First Post Office, which is a museum and postal outlet run by the Town of York Historical Society. (www.townofyork.com) We are dedicated to the history of the colonial post office in York (now Toronto), and the Old Town of York itself.

I love history and historical scenes, advertisements for products or events, vintage cards, joke cards, etc... but I am also interested in getting whatever postcard you feel best reflects who YOU are. I go especially nuts for mail art, especially if you made it yourself.

On the back, tell me about what has your attention right now. Even if (especially if!) you've been daydreaming - what about? I read other people's mail for a living - so make your message unusual, if you can!

If you send me mail art, I will probably end up using it as an example in a workshop here at the museum (maybe even an exhibit!), and all the postcards I receive go up on the walls around my desk.
