About Kenda...

I live and work in Niigata Prefecture in Japan. I currently teach English to children ranging in ages from 2 to 18. I am very interested in art, music, history, culture, dancing, yoga, reading, and traveling. My favorite American movie is The Neverending Story and my favorite Japanese movie is Always San Chome no Yuhi. I love the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I also like Criminal Minds. My music tastes range from Puccini, Johnny Cash, Foreigner, and Tchaikovsky, to Three Days Grace and Frank Sinatra. I love collecting pins with the names of the places I've been on them and stickers. I also collect books wherever I go! I love tattoos and am in constant search of interesting ones to photograph and talk about with their owners. I also enjoy learning about new religions and have a passion for Japanese temples and shrines. I love Daibutsu statues and have visited many in Japan.
