About Kristína...

Hello [randomly chosen user reading this]!

I’m glad YOU are the one who’s going to send me a postcard! :-)

My name is Kristína and I’m a 23-year-old student from Slovakia, but living in Czech republic. I love sending and getting letters and postcards, choosing them (I can spend hours in stationer’s to pick one postcard) and then writing them. It has always had something special inside for me.

* What should you know about me? *
The first thing is that I’m a hopeless dreamer and I still believe I can contribute to making the world a better place to live in (although I still haven’t find the right way how). I love my life and I’m trying to enjoy every single minute of it.

What I love:
♥ music and playing the piano
♥ hiking
♥ time spent in nature
♥ lying in the grass and watching the clouds moving
♥ literature
♥ molecular biology, "my" cells, proteins and working in the lab!
♥ autumn with its colours
♥ good films
♥ sunsets
♥ stargazing

* What should you know about postcards for me? *
I generally appreciate any postcard! It makes me happy to receive cards all over the world and also to send them.
I put much effort into picking up the right one – well, it can happen that I send sometimes two postcards looking the same, but it’s because I hardly remember which ones I’ve already sent and if I like it – and think you’d like it too – I send it again. What I wanted to say… I also expect you to put at least some effort to picking the right one for me! :-)

☼ About the topic
- please, don’t send me handmade cards unless you’re good in drawing!
- appreciated any card, especially:
♥ black-and-white ones
♥ cards showing your town / country / interesting places
♥ cards showing nature (mountains, meadows, flowers,...)
♥ creative cards
♥ any card which makes you smile (I don’t mean funny cards with jokes)

☼ About what to write there
- if you don’t know what to write, here are some ideas:
-> tell me about yourself – your life and interests
-> describe the town (country) you live in
-> tell me which place you would like to visit in future and why
-> tell me your favourite quote (or any meaningful)
- please, write the postcards by your hand, don't only stick my address upon the postcard
- please, write the date of sending postcard on it, I'd like to see how long it has travelled
- feel free to write something in your native language!

Thank you :-)

* Well and what now? Only send! *
I register the postcard as soon as it will arrive – and I don’t register postcards I haven’t received.

Additional note: if you are interested in writing letters, don’t hesitate to write me a message!

Happy postcrossing :-)
