About 晏凯...

Hello (Ni Hao) World,

If you feel like it, write about something you’ve learned recently. What is something interesting that you’ve recently discovered? It could be a funny fact, a new skill, or even something you’ve learned through a postcard you’ve received.

My name is Ken Yan from Shanghai. I teach English literature at a university. I am a tea addict. I like collecting various teabag-tags, it's a weird hobby, I know.

I take a great interest in royal regalias, children's book illustrations (esp. blue cats from Russia, Inge Look old ladies ), water-colours, or any other illustrative art, so if you don’t mind, sending me these types of postcards would amuse me too:
- Game of Thrones theme~
- ROYALTY, all postcards with past and current monarchs, could be vintage;
- prints/embroidery/lace/renaissance tapestry, or anything about folk art
- Illustrative Art, including children's book illustrations, water-colours
- CROWN JEWELS, royal crowns, sceptres, orbs and jewellery; royal regalia of your country
- blue cats illustrations from Russia and its neighboring countries
- Lord of the Rings, Hobbits posters etc;
- erotic, pin ups & other scantily clad young ladies

***- Inge Löök illustrations- Old Ladys;*** one of my absolute favourite!!
- Lali series,Gotochi,NI, "Where's Wally?" series, it is for my collection
- UNESCO World Heritage sites
- Aztec, Maya and Inka-Temple

And if you like reading, please tell me something about your favourite literature, I am really interested and will be trying to find the book you recommend~
If you live by the coast, I would be thrilled if you would tape a little sand to the card. It is fascinating to compare the color and texture of beaches.

If you feel like writing me something but not sure what, here are a few ideas:
A secret
Local superstitions
Tell me an embarrassing story
Tell me the most amazing thing you have ever done
Tell me a good book to read or movie to watch.
I would also like to be greeted in your language, and please date the card.

p.s.If you can speak French, you can write in it, since I have been studying it for over 10 years, and would very much like to read French in case I forget how to use it~
If you can print my address in Chinese, I will receive the postcard quickly,

Thank you.
