About Ken...

I live in the beautiful Annapolis Valley in western Nova Scotia and I am retired from the Nova Scotia Department of Justice where I worked for almost 30 years, finishing my career as a District Court Administrator. I am an amateur (ham) radio operator (VE1MO), love watching NHL hockey (I've been a Montreal Canadiens fan for over sixty years) and I am a member of the world's oldest and largest fraternity, Freemasonry. I also take part in the activity called Geocaching - "the sport where YOU are the search engine." See http://www.geocaching.com for more information.

I also collect postcards, so postcrossing.com is the perfect site for me! I will be thrilled to put any postcards that I receive into my collection! I have no particular preferences - I like postcards of all types, so don't worry about finding something special to send me. In fact, I would like to receive a postcard of the most important place or thing or view in your area, or that place or view which you like the most! I'm not a fan of lists of what people want or don't want on this site, each postcard you send me is a moment in time from your life and I will enjoy it simply for the gift that it is to me!

I am looking forward to receiving a postcard from you soon! I promise that I will register each and every card the very day that I receive it unless I am away from home, in which case I will try to remember to make note of that fact here at the top of my profile before I leave.

Best wishes,
Ken

P.S. - At this point in time I am not doing any private swaps. I often receive two or three requests for private swaps per day - it has become too expensive to make private swaps. I apologize and I hope you will understand.
