My name is Kasia and though originally from Poland, Ireland is my home now.
All postcard make me happy. I love sending them as much as receiving.

To give you an idea of who I am I will list some things that make me happy and things I like. I made the list for myself to remember, to keep myself grounded. I am worried about what is happening in the world even though I know it can be a beautiful place. I suppose sometimes I just need to remind myself to focus on those little things that make my life worth living, those little things that make me smile, laugh or open eyes wider in wonder.

I love looking at beautiful, fluffy, extraordinary clouds in the blue sky, rainbows (and Ireland is perfect for those). I love the scent of freshly cut grass, forest, wood and concrete after rain. I like wearing woolie hats in winter. The sensation of a pompom hitting the back of my head as I walk. I like walking barefoot. Feeling the ground under my feet - grass, pebbles, sand, wood, earth. Even though I like warm socks in the winter in general I find socks somehow oppressive and limiting. I like reading books under blanket with mug of tea next to me and rain on the other side of the window. I like board games and visiting galleries and museums. I love hunting for postcards anywhere and everywhere. I like board games, music, movies, yoga and wild flowers. And I'm fascinated how languages work, how a sound to one person can mean something very specific and nothing at all to another.
