My home is in Kuopio, in the eastern part of Finland. Before retiring in 2014, I taught Finnish as a second/foreign language.

Rosamundo from Canada put it into words: "Fleeting as the contact may be, it can still be quite meaningful." Postcrossing has brought me great joy. I hope it does the same to you, too.

I am interested in art (both doing it and looking at it), classical music and reading.
