Update: I'm back to Germany!

Update: I moved to Japan for a year (until September 2017). I am now studying Japanese as an exchange student at the University of Tsukuba. Tsukuba is a calm and nice city one hour away from Tokyo. I love the campus and I am happy I met so many nice people here. If you are interested in Japan, you can find lots of pictures on my instagram @juliamischka.

Hi, my name is Julia and I am from Siberia, but I live in Germany. I'm studying Asian Studies and Japanese at the University of Bonn. I love photography, books and foreign languages. My 2016 New Year resolution is to learn five new foreign languages in five years: Italian, Spanish, Korean, Arabic and Serbian. I adore Japan, it's traditional culture, literature and art. I also love everything about Asia, from the Middle East to the East Asia.

As to postcards, I don't have any preferences, for me it is important what you write on the back side. If you want to get a postcard or letter from me, just send me a message. Also I have to admit that I love letters way more than postcards, so if you also like writing letters, please do so, I'd be happy to read about you and your life more than just a short message.

P.S. If you are from Germany or Japan, I would like to read about your favourite places, because I love taking short trips around the country.
