Hello everyone, my name is Julius Gottschalk, I am 19 years old and a native of Dortmund, but currently living and studying in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany. I am passionate about languages (especially German), history, social sciences and politics - I am an active member of a political party myself. Furthermore, I am very interested in nature. I like to cycle, cook, read and write with pens from my small collection of fountain pens. The postcrossing project crossed my path by accident, but it suits me very well because I have always complained about how little mail from all over the world you get in times of digital mass media (except advertising)... as done for me!

In principle, it does not matter which postcards you send me. Only those with advertising do not really appeal to me. Feel free to send me nice messages, a few words in the language of your country of origin or small drawings. Most of all I enjoy postcards with a certain sight, nature photographs, quotes or historical stuff (old maps, buildings, etc.). But as I said, it does not matter, every postcard has the potential to sweeten my day.
